Equate Omeprazole Tablets, 42 count:
  • Equate Omeprazole Delayed Release Tablets 20 mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and is the latest type of heartburn drug. The producer price index actually deactivates acid-producing stomach-liner pumps, thereby significantly suppressing acid production at the source (and its excessive production). PPI can be used over-the-counter or as a prescription for the treatment of ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis. PPI includes shop-brand Omeprazole delayed-release tablets, 20 mg (treatment of the same symptoms as Prilosec OTC) and lansoprazole delayed-release capsules 15 mg (treatment of the same symptoms as Prevacid 24HR) for two days of treatment Or more frequent heartburns every day. These products may take an initial period of 1 to 4 days to begin work and do not immediately alleviate the frequent heartburn symptoms. Over-the-counter PPIs such as omeprazole delayed-release tablets 20 mg and lansoprazole delayed-release capsules 15 mg should be used every four months as a 14-day course of treatment. You should not take PPIs for more than 14 days unless instructed by your doctor.
  • Indications: Treatment of frequent heartburn, two or more times a week,
