If you would like to learn how to help your child with Nonverbal Learning Disorder (NLD), then this book is for you!
Read on your PC, Mac, smart phone, tablet, or Kindle device. Nonverbal Learning Disability (NLD or NVLD) is a condition that is characterized by impaired motor coordination and visual function, leading to difficulty in understanding math and spatial concepts. More simply put, children with NLD have trouble understanding nonverbal cues. For example, if your child has problems in interpreting math symbols, or finds it difficult to socialize because of his inability to understand facial expressions and body language, he may have NLD. Perhaps you have even already confirmed the diagnosis by consulting with an NLD specialist, which is an important step in working to overcome and treat the disorder. Early identification and therapy will also prevent the occurrence of further complications. This book was written specifically for a parent of a child with NLD to help you better understand the condition, including the causes, symptoms, and diagnosis; and also to provide you with management strategies to implement and treatment options to explore so as to help your child cope and thrive.

Understanding and Coping with Nonverbal Learning Disorder, October 4, 2015 This review is from: NLD - Nonverbal Learning Disorder: A Parent's Guide to Understanding and Helping a Child With a Nonverbal Learning Disorder ( Also Known As Nonverbal Learning Disability ) (Kindle Edition) The book is a good attempt to explain the Nonverbal Learning Disorder, its symptoms, diagnosis, causes and the available treatments. It can help you verify if your child is actually suffering from this order and provide guidance on what you can do in such a scenario to get rid of it or at least minimize the consequences. If your child is unable to socialize properly, has disorganized thoughts, impaired motor skills, has difficulty understand the non verbal cues of the language, difficulty with math symbols, short attention span or bad handwriting there are good chances that he is suffering from this disorder. The book also highlights the remedial action you can take as a parent of such a special child. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?

I’ve met some children with this disability and have felt really pity for them and their parents and wanted to do something but didn’t know much about the disorder. While looking for some books in the bookstore, I found this guide and since I wanted to know more about the disorder, I bought it. I’ve gone through this book, and found some really useful tips.
