The book is a good attempt to explain the Nonverbal Learning Disorder, its symptoms, diagnosis,
causes and the available treatments. It can help you verify if your child is actually suffering from
this order and provide guidance on what you can do in such a scenario to get rid of it or at least minimize
the consequences. If your child is unable to socialize properly, has disorganized thoughts, impaired motor skills,
has difficulty understand the non verbal cues of the language, difficulty with math symbols, short attention span
or bad handwriting there are good chances that he is suffering from this disorder. The book also highlights the

Though many people are not aware of this disorder, it is a disability among children that if not treated will become very problematic for them in the future. I’ve met some children with this disability and have felt really pity for them and their parents and wanted to do something but didn’t know much about the disorder.
While looking for some books in the bookstore, I found this guide and since I wanted to know more about the disorder, I bought it. I’ve gone through this book, and found some really useful tips. I now have a better understanding of what NLD is and the signs and symptoms associated with the disorder. Nonverbal learning disorder can be treated and this book has helped point me in the right direction. I would recommend this book for all parents and teachers of children with NLD.
