Tour dates are below. The hooks are warm-weather, the lyrics blithely sentimental, the emotions nostalgic and deathless. it was well worth the wait. SPIN, 8/10"Weezers return to form is real A.V. ClubAll that really matters is that the White Albums songs are great, andnot just great for the 2016 version of Weezer. They stack up beside the bands best work of the past 15 years, an outcome that should keep Weezer,as Cuomo declares on (Girl We Got A) Good Thing,Marching forward/oblivious to all the hate around us. Alternative PressThe result is a fun, poppy album with several moments that would make Brian Wilson proud. A.V. ClubThat is the best thing about Weezer in 2016: The group still holds its own singular identity. Its what makes some of its most effortless offerings, like California Kids and the trotting, mournful Jacked Up, seem ideally set for the radio dial that has afforded Weezer so much success. They are songs that are anthemic without demanding singalongs. Stereogumone of the prolific bands best albums in years Newsday
