BOC Level I - Oak Creek, WI - February 2016
Level I Training Series Building Operator Certification (BOC) training includes nearly 74 hours of classroom and project work (7.4 CEUs) in building systems operation and maintenance. Each course in the series is completed in a one day training session, except BOC 1001 Energy Efficient Operation of Building HVAC Systems, which is a two day course. To become certified, participants must pass an exam at the end of each training day and complete five assigned projects. Early registration is encouraged. Tuition Information ,400 Students are eligible for a 0 tuition reimbursement through Focus on Energy. when all certification requirements are met and after implementing a qualifying energy efficiency project with Focus on Energy. Class Dates Wed-Thurs, February 24-25, 2016 - BOC 1001- Energy Efficient Operations of Building HVAC Systems Wed, March 9th, 2016 - Measuring and Benchmarking Energy Performance Wed, March 23rd, 2016 - Efficient Lighting Fundamentals Wed, April 6th, 2016 - HVAC Controls Fundamentals Wed, April 20th, 2016 - Indoor Environmental Quality Wed, May 4th, 2016 - Low-cost Operational Improvements Wed, May 18th, 2016 - Facility Electrical Systems Classes run from 8:00am to 4:00pm each day. Cancellation Policy and Refund Information No refunds will be provided for registrations canceled less than three business days before the start of the first course in a training series. However, employers may substitute another employee if the original registrant is unable to participate in the training series. If a training participant is unable to attend a course in a training series for which he or she is registered, he or she may make up that course at no additional cost or penalty by attending it when it is offered during another training series
