1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Excellent aide memoire that you'll want to keep for future reference, December 22, 2015 This review is from: Nail Your Novel Instant Fix: 100 tips for fascinating characters (Kindle Edition) A neat little freebie that will be a handy introduction for anyone not already familiar with Roz Morris's excellent advice guides, which draw on her many years' experience as a professional ghostwriter, novelist and writing coach. Although this is a very short book, which you can read in half an hour, it is worth taking much longer over it, as it's in a very condensed form, and each of the 100 points is worth lingering over and considering in depth. It's also worth keeping it to hand on your Kindle to come back to as a checklist, next time you're self-editing a story or when you get stuck with a character's development and aren't sure where to go next. Thanks, Roz Morris, for a very useful addition to my writing library! Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful A Very Useful And Well Structured Reference For Developmental Issues, December 22, 2015 This review is from: Nail Your Novel Instant Fix: 100 tips for fascinating characters (Kindle Edition) This little book is an absolute must for aspiring writers as well as seasoned ones. Those who have already the author's 'Nail Your Novel vol. 2' will find the content somewhat familiar. In fact, as the author mentions, this is a very condensed extraction from it.
Yet, it is extremely handy to have this very condensed reference as a checklist at hand when needed. Either to enhance your characters, or to get help when you get stuck with the plot development and some motivations.
It's definitely worth five stars. If there were several categories to evaluate, like structure or usefulness, then I'd give this book five stars in each category. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?
